First of all, I would like to say how excited I am to be able to have the opportunity to work with your child this year.  I am looking forward to meeting all the new parents as well seeing all of the parents of my former students.  We are going to have an awesome school year learning about many things, especially our Lord, Jesus!

    I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself.  My previous group of parents know my background, but I would like to share the story with you too.  I was born and raised within the states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island (living mainly in RI). I graduated high school and went to World Evangelism Bible College which is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  It was there that I met my husband.  I graduated from college with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and moved back to RI.  I began teaching third grade in New England Christian Academy in September 1992 and taught third grade until June 2000.  During this time I was married, had 2 children, and lived in RI and MA until my husband and I felt it was time to move to CA to minister to his family.

    We drove across country with our children and belongings and arrived in CA on August 6th, 2000.  I was hired to teach first grade at FCCA and have been here ever since.  I have had the pleasure to have taught first, second, and 4th grade during my 11 years at FCCA.   This will be my 12th year teaching here at FCCA and,  I am really excited about having the opportunity to teach another group of wonderful second graders.  It is going to be a great year!
