Welcome to the 4th/5th Multi-Grade Class!

     Hello! My name is Mrs. Kerner and I teach 4th/ 5th grade here at FCCA.  I  have over 26 years of teaching experience with students from preschool to sixth grade. Here at FCCA, I've taught Kindergarten, 4th grade and fifth grade.  This is my tenth year teaching at FCCA.

    I am proud to be a teacher here at First Church Christian Academy.  It is important to me to be a part of a teaching experience that includes not only great educational growth, but also spiritual growth.  I believe so much in what FCCA stands for, my own daughter has been attending here since she was in Kindergarten. She has just graduated from the 8th grade and is doing great as a freshman at University High!  

    Being a parent and teacher, I understand and stress the importance of effective parent/teacher communication.  This is a vital part of your child's success in school.  I will strive to communicate with you through weekly newsletters, parent/teacher conferences, and personal phone calls.  This will keep you informed of what is happening in the classroom.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that come up during the school year.
