It is with mixed feelings of excitement and sadness that I write this letter to announce that after a teaching career of 36 years, 27 of those at First Church Christian Academy, I will be retiring at the end of this school year.
It has been an honor and a privilege to get to know so many of you and to have been able to contribute in some small way to the education of your children.
God has blessed my life by allowing me to work with a wonderful group of teachers who are not just my co-workers, but also my friends.
I take with me many beautiful memories from all my years here at FCCA. May the Lord bless you always. Remember one of my favorite Bible verses:
“Train up a child how to live the right way, then even when he is old, he will still live that way.” – Proverbs 22:6
